Author services
I am experienced in reading items for publication, and I am happy to meet individual author and/or publisher requirements.
I read:
- short stories
- novels
- fiction written for magazines
- non-fiction items
I have a wide range of interests, including:
- therapy
- Christianity
- librarianship and information science
- keeping chickens
- gardening
I am happy to read items on other subjects but cannot guarantee knowledge of specialist terms in those areas.
How I work:
- I generally use "Track Changes" in Microsoft Word, which means you can see my suggestions and decide if you want to keep the changes. (Work with other formats is possible - please ask.)
- You can email your work to me and specify your requirements in terms of how much work you would like done on the document.
- You can just have a basic spelling check or ask me to look at any combination of spelling, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and/or language usage.
- I offer a personal service and will always be happy to answer your questions or offer advice.
If it's urgent I will do my best to meet your deadline, at no extra cost.
