Proofreading for All - Students

There are many benefits to having your work proofread or edited as spelling, grammatical and language errors may all lower your grade.

However experienced you are at academic writing it is very hard to spot your own mistakes, so it makes sense to have someone else look at what you have written.

I read essays, projects, dissertations, theses, etc. and check them for spelling, grammar and language usage. Let me know your deadline and I will work to that, or let you know if it is not possible for me to meet it.

I do not write essays for students, although I can advise on essay structure if you wish.

Rates (negotiable)

Basic proofreading (checking for spelling errors): £2.50 per 1000 words

Light editing (as above, plus making small changes to grammar and sentence structure for greater clarity): £5 per 1000 words up to a maximum of £80, regardless of the length of your manuscript

Heavy editing (both of the above plus more active editing of the text and reworking of the manuscript's  structure, especially useful if English is your second language): £6 per 1000 words up to a maximum of £80, regardless of the length of your manuscript
